INTRODUCTION
1. Urgency of the topic
Credit activities play a very important role, it determines the existence of a business.
existence and development of credit institutions (CIs), especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Lao PDR Commercial Joint Stock Bank is currently operating mainly through traditional banking services.
To develop, credit institutions must conduct safe credit activities.
Therefore, the credit institution needs to have complete information.

objective reality of the banking system's operations.
Currently, credit activities are still the main activities of commercial banks (CBs), with two basic input factors being capital and information. These are the two most important factors determining the existence and development of a bank. In the information serving the credit business of commercial banks, bank credit information occupies a very important position, because it is directly related to customers, including information on the operating situation, financial situation, rating, and assessment of customers' ability to repay debts. disproportionate in credit activities, causing many risks for commercial banks. Therefore, banking credit information has really become important for the survival of banks in the market economy. Nowadays, credit information becomes even more necessary when the world economy is facing many challenges in the process of economic globalization.
From that need, international financial organizations have made efforts to research, summarize experiences and find measures to promote the development of credit information activities globally with the hope of creating more effective shields against the risk of economic crisis in the future. Along with the common efforts of the international financial community, the Bank of the Lao PDR has made many efforts to promote credit information activities of the banking credit information system with the aim of limiting credit risks, ensuring the safety of the banking system to contribute to the development of the country's economy.
However, because the credit information activities in Lao PDR are still new, despite many efforts, the credit information system of Lao PDR banks has not yet met the increasingly high demands of credit activities in the banking system. Credit information activities in Lao PDR have achieved some major achievements such as organizing and perfecting the State Bank's Credit Information Center, providing timely and accurate credit information to customers, and helping commercial banks effectively use credit information. However, the TTTD has some limitations: The TTTD Center collects complete information, the analysis of TTTD does not have a common standard, the information needs of commercial banks are not close to credit activities, the cost of providing information is still high... Therefore, research to propose solutions to develop the TTTD system of Lao PDR banks is really an urgent requirement both in theory and in practice of banking activities, not only for Lao PDR but also for developing countries, especially for countries transitioning to a market economy.
